One of my most favorite photos that I’ve taken. The saturated air produced a bright orange haze in the late afternoon, giving everything a magical glow.

Places I’ve been:
Neuschwanstein. One of the most iconic castles in the world and the inspiration behind Disney’s Sleeping Beauty Castle. Although travelers come to see the castles, the surrounding countryside itself is incredibly dynamic and beautiful.

That summer I came home with respect for a new driving style. The Italian driver is fearless, shameless, machismo, angry, smart, precise.. Although scary sometimes, it’s refreshing to see people just go and do whatever works on their streets, compared to the more methodical traffic laws we follow..

My sister submitted this photo I took of her to this website. This has been our ‘thing’ for a long time; we have to take jumping photos in jump-worthy places when we travel. It’s gotten to the point where we hardly have to communicate that we’re taking a jumping photo. We just do it.
I even made a group on Flikr a while ago, called Jumping Pictures Around the World.
So I suggest that everyone should do this now. It adds so much more drama, hilarity, illusion, intrigue— Basically it just makes everything better. Check out my friend’s photo, which is EPIC; he managed to, without even speaking Japanese, coordinate this photo with a group of schoolgirls. He too is a master of travel-jumping, so when he noticed them taking jumping pictures of each other, he had to participate.
